Remote seminar for representatives of the European Business Association on the Common Transit Regime and the application of the New Computerized Transit System (NCTS) in Ukraine

Today, on February 17th, the first remote seminar for businesses on the Common Transit Regime and the application of the New Computerized Transit System (NCTS) in Ukraine was held, the first participants of which were representatives of the European Business Association.

Presentation of the seminar on the Common Transit Regime and NCTS application in Ukraine

More than 70 EBA members participated in the seminar. The theoretical part of the presentation, in particular, covered the information on Ukraine’s accession to the Convention on the Common Transit procedure, the stages of NCTS implementation, the specifics of the system after its launch throughout Ukraine and other. The participants had the opportunity to learn about the experience of Kyiv and Volyn customs representatives, the formalities of filling out the T1UA declaration, etc.

The speakers, Mr. Alexander Moskalenko, Director of the Customs Policy Department of the Ministry of Finance; Mr. Serhiy Demchenko, Director of the Department of Customs Development and Control of the State Customs Service; Ms. Alina Brendak, National Coordinator for Common Transit, Head of the International Transit System Development Department of the Customs Development and Control Department of the State Customs Service; representatives of Kyiv and Volyn customs; Mr. Konstantin Bilchuk, EU4PFM expert, – answered for at least 40 questions from participants. The seminar was organized with the support of the State Customs Service, the Ministry of Finance of Ukraine and EU4PFM Programme.
