EU4PFM in cooperation with the STS launches new training programme on communications for regional communication specialists

Today, in partnership with the State Tax Service of Ukraine, the training programme on communication was launched at the Kyiv School of Public Administration (KSPA). The three-day programme provides a dedicated space to work on communications under conditions of constant stress, public scrutiny, and crisis-related challenges. The training brought together more than 40 regional STS communications professionals for three days of intensive learning and practical exchange.

The opening session was joined by Lesya Karnaukh, Acting Head of the State Tax Service of Ukraine, who welcomed the participants and underlined the importance of strong, professional and people-centred communication for building public trust in the tax administration.

The course focuses on practical tools for everyday communication with citizens, the media, partners, and in complex information environments. During the first day, participants explored crisis communication, public image, and the role of social media as a space for building trust. The training combined theory with practical exercises and real-life cases relevant to the daily work of STS press services.

Two more days of practical work lie ahead, focusing on visual communication, conflict management, crisis cases, on-camera performance, and hands-on training sessions.
