EU4PFM Team discussed further development of Ukraine’s digital tax system with the State Tax Service

EU4PFM team led by Jurgita Domeikiene, together with Javier Casasnovas-Bernad from the EU Delegation met with Acting Head of the State Tax Service Lesia Karnauh. The discussion focused on results achieved, the support provided during the screening, which, according to the European Commission, was successfully passed, and future plans, including building STS capacity for the direct application of EU regulation.

Lesia Karnauh noted that cooperation with EU4PFM is key for moving forward with the National Revenue Strategy and developing a modern digital tax system. She highlighted recent milestones: improvements to the SAF-T UA standard audit file, development of e-audit, and staff training – all achieved with EU4PFM support.
