How are managerial competencies shaping leadership at the Accounting Chamber of Ukraine?
This question guided the latest EU4PFM trainings, where participants learned how developing key managerial skills – such as communication, motivation, delegation, teamwork, and conflict resolution – can turn strategic goals into real results.
Over 40 first- and second-level managers from both the central office and regional offices of the Accounting Chamber took part in practical exercises and real-life case studies, strengthening their leadership mindset and contributing to a culture of accountability and collaboration within the institution.
As the trainer emphasized, strong managerial competencies are essential not only for achieving institutional objectives but also for building trust within teams and fostering a positive, cooperative work environment. Participants practiced applying new approaches to everyday challenges, gaining hands-on experience that will support both their personal development and the institution’s effectiveness.
“We are glad to see the enthusiasm and openness of ACU managers to new approaches,” said Inguna Sudraba, EU4PFM Component 5 Team Leader. “Such trainings help build a culture of leadership that supports integrity, teamwork, and continuous improvement.”
The managerial competencies development programme will continue in the coming weeks, engaging managers at all levels of the Accounting Chamber and contributing to the long-term professional growth and institutional capacity of the organization.
