Jurgita Domeikiene, the Team Leader of the EU4PFM project and key international HR / PAR expert mentioned that the meeting focused on the results of cooperation and a plan of action to support the project in the development of personnel management and organizational change for public finance management institutions in Ukraine.

The participants provided information on the results of work with the EU4PFM project in the field of internal communications development, adaptation of new employees, non-financial motivation of employees, identification of personal involvement, development of organizational culture, project and process management, and more.

Oleksiy Zhak, Director General of the Directorate for Strategic Planning and European Integration of the Secretariat of the Ministry of Finance of Ukraine noted during the meeting that in early November the draft Public Finance Management Strategy was submitted to the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine. For the first time, the document included a section on HR strategy and management of organizational development of public institutions in the field of public finance management in Ukraine.

Edwardas Zhukauskas, EU4PFM International Expert, also noted the significant progress made in supporting EU4PFM in developing and adopting HR strategies currently being implemented by the Ministry of Finance of Ukraine, the State Tax Service of Ukraine, and the State Customs Service of Ukraine.

During the meeting, the successful experience of the State Tax Service in organizing and implementing the Program of adaptation of newly appointed employees of the State Tax Service and territorial departments of the State Tax Service in Donetsk region, Dnipropetrovsk region, the main department of the State Tax Service in Kyiv was presented. The project is ready to continue to provide further assistance in implementing the latest approaches in the development of work with staff and organizational development of state institutions.
