“Providing effective support to tax payers is vital to ensure effective revenue collection by the State and therefore finance the defence, the continuity and the reconstruction of the country. It also builds trust between taxpayers and the State. Finally, it strengthens the enforcement capacities on tax legislation, which is key for the EU path. The EU is very pleased to have supported the State tax service with the implementation of a modern concept of Contact Centre, including the acquisition of state of the art IT equipment. This initiative and the successful cooperation with the tax service provide a key contribution to these objectives” Xavier Camus noted during the presentation.
During the presentation, the STS leadership highlighted the development of the Contact Centre and the main accomplishments of the modernised Contact Centre that provides innovative solutions to enhance communication with taxpayers. Through the implementation of new technologies and streamlined workflows, taxpayers can connect now with tax experts quickly and conveniently.
Taxpayers are encouraged to take advantage of the modernised Contact Centre for all their tax-related inquiries and assistance.
