Strengthening customs cooperation: Ukrainian Delegation meets with EU4PFM leadership in Vilnius

Jurgita Domeikiene, EU4PFM Team Leader, Vytenis Alisauskas, EU4PFM Key International Expert in customs area and Serhii Zvyagintsev , Acting Head of State Customs Service of Ukraine, explored various aspects of customs reforms, including enhancement of the anti-corruption programme, implementation of EU sanctions, harmonization of customs legislation with the EU one, the SCS further digitalisation and development of IT solutions within MASP-C during the meeting in Vilnius.

The meeting was organized under the initiative of Lithuanian Customs for the signing of the declaration on the application of uniform control measures, in order to ensure the implementation of EU sanctions. It is a significant step towards enhancing regional cooperation among Customs authorities of Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Finland, and Poland, reflecting a concerted effort to foster collaboration in customs enforcement and trade facilitation across the Baltic and Nordic regions.
