A List of common technical errors identified during automated validation of SAF-T UA Files has been published

A List of common technical errors identified during automated validation of SAF-T UA Files has been published on the State Tax Service’s official web portal to support taxpayers working with the Standard Audit File for Tax (SAF-T UA).

This practical tool will help taxpayers identify and correct technical errors at the file preparation stage, reduce the time needed for revisions and improve data quality.

The list was developed based on the results of SAF-T UA file testing and practical experience gained through interactions between the State Tax Service (STS) and taxpayers. Its publication also responds to numerous requests from businesses for clarification of technical errors encountered during file preparation and validation.

The document is divided into two main sections:

* Key and Key Reference Constraint Validation (FE);

* Logical Consistency and Data Integrity Validation (RE).

Taxpayers can use the list as a practical guide when preparing SAF-T UA files to:

* Identify and correct common technical errors at an early stage;

* Reduce the time required for file validation and revision;

* Improve data quality, completeness and consistency;

* Minimise the need to regenerate files;

* Prepare files to successfully pass automated validation.

The software for the E-Audit Information and Communication System was developed with the support of the EU Public Finance Management Support Programme for Ukraine (EU4PFM).
