Procurement Component experts assist the Ministry of Economy and responsible Verkhovna Rada Committee in the development of the public procurement (including defence procurement), PPP and Concessions as well as the defenсe procurement legislation compliant with the EU acquis and the best international practices.
Capacity building (study visits, trainings, workshops, events of experience exchange) is provided to Partner Institutions and procurement practitioners in order for them to be well – informed on the policy developments, trends and best practices in the EU public procurement and PPP landscape.
Co-operation with public procurement oversight bodies include the consultations related to the EU accession process, assistance in the capacity building as well as the implementation of best procurement oversight practices.
Understanding the core importance of the well skilled and knowledgeable professionals conducting public procurement transactions, the Procurement Component experts participate in the elaboration of procurement online courses, procurement HR management tools as well events related to dissemination to procurement reform and practice related information to the practitioners.
For the procurement reforms to be successful, it is important for the wider audience to be informed about them. Therefore the EU4PFM programme carries out dedicated communication efforts for the dissemination of the programmes work.
