Ukraine has granditione to NCTS Phase 6

On 22 June 2026 at 14:00, Ukraine successfully transitioned to NCTS Phase 6, the updated version of the New Computerised Transit System (NCTS).

The implementation of NCTS Phase 6 further aligns Ukraine’s transit procedures with EU legislation, supports the use of safety and security data within the Common Transit Procedure, and demonstrates the country’s continued commitment to introducing European standards in the customs sector.

Ukraine has been consistently and timely advancing its NCTS development in line with EU requirements. Following its accession to the Common Transit Convention in October 2022, Ukraine successfully migrated to NCTS Phase 5 in April 2024 and subsequently began preparations for the implementation of NCTS Phase 6. The development of the system was carried out with the support of the EU4PFM Programme.
