Building an ethical culture that strengthens public audit
Strong institutions are built not only on professional expertise but also on a culture of ethical behaviour, trust, and effective collaboration.
The EU4PFM Programme Component 5 “External audit and parliamentary oversight” has launched the training programme “Ethical Culture of Professional Interaction” for the Accounting Chamber of Ukraine, with the first series of trainings already completed for Accounting Chamber staff.
Overall, the programme will involve approximately 200 participants:
120 staff members;
40 middle managers;
40 senior managers.
In the coming weeks, the programme will continue ensuring that ethical leadership and professional interaction become an integral part of the organisation’s culture at every level.
Throughout the training, participants learn how ethical behaviour and professional interaction contribute to stronger institutional performance. Practical trainings focus on achieving shared results, responsible communication, constructive feedback, and promoting a professional environment built on trust and accountability.
By investing in people and organisational culture alongside professional competencies, the EU4PFM Programme continues to support the Accounting Chamber of Ukraine in strengthening its institutional resilience and aligning with European principles of public sector governance.
