On 17 October, the Accounting Chamber with the support of EU4PFM organized a Round-table focused on practical aspects of improving risk management within the organization's work. The event brought together the department directors and section heads within the Chamber and external experts to discuss strategies for identifying, assessing, and responding to risks that could impact the institution’s operations and credibility.

Today, the EU4PFM Project and the Ministry of Finance hosted the second 'Public Internal Financial Control: Perspective for Future 2.0' conference, focusing on practical steps toward effective internal control management.

The EU4PFM Project has funded training under the educational program ‘Accounting in Public Sector Institutions and Organisations according to National Standards.’

On October 8, 2024, the 8th meeting of the EU-Ukraine Association Committee’s Subcommittee on Customs Cooperation was held online. The discussions focused on harmonizing Ukraine’s customs legislation with EU standards and fostering collaboration with European partners.

On October 2, Inguna Sudraba, the Team Leader of the EU4PFM Component 5 "External Audit and Parliamentary Control", conducted a meeting with Olga Pishchanska, the Head of the Accounting Chamber of Ukraine.

A recent series of meetings between the Acting Head of the State Tax Service (STS) Tetiana Kirienko, Deputy Head for Digital Development, Digital Transformation and Digitization Nataliia Kalienichenko, Deputy Head Yevhenii Socur, and EU4PFM Team Leader Jurgita Domeikiene alongside International Key Expert Paulius Majauskas, highlighted significant steps in their ongoing collaboration aimed at improving taxpayer services and driving further tax administration reform.

Their discussion focused on aligning Ukraine’s tax legislation with the EU acquis, particularly in light of the EU Enlargement Report recommendations and the National Revenue Strategy.

As part of a series of meetings between EU4PFM leadership and partner institutions in Kyiv, on October 1, a meeting was held between EU4PFM Team Leader, Jurgita Domeikiene, Key International Expert in Customs, Vytenis Alisauskas and the Head of the State Customs Service of Ukraine, Serhii Zviahintsev, as well as the Deputy Heads of the State Customs Service, Vladyslav Suvorov and Oleh Nikolaychuk.

Today, during a working visit to Kyiv, EU4PFM Team Leader Jurgita Domeikienė and international key expert on IT Dragan Jeremić met with Oleksandr Hrubiian, the Deputy Minister of Finance for Digital Development, Digital Transformations, and Digitalisation.
