These were the key topics discussed on the final day of the training «Public Procurement – a Strategic Area for the Development of the National Economy During and After the War», organised by experts of Procurement Component of the EU4PFM Programme together with the Public Procurement Department of the Ministry of Economy of Ukraine.

Today, Uzhhorod hosted the launch of the training “Public Procurement – a Strategic Area for the Development of the National Economy During and After the War”, organised by experts of Procurement Component of the EU4PFM Programme in cooperation with the Public Procurement Department of the Ministry of Economy of Ukraine.

The State Customs Service of Ukraine has signed a contract for the development of the NCTS Phase 6 system. The development and implementation of this system is identified as a key priority in the customs sphere in the European Commission’s annual reports on Ukraine’s progress towards EU accession. The contract will be financed by the EU4PFM Programme, as part of broader EU assistance to Ukraine in its preparations for EU membership.

As part of its consistent support for the professional development of the Accounting Chamber’s audit staff, EU4PFM Component 5 conducted a new round of training on July 15–17. This time, the sessions focused on deepening auditors’ understanding of the audit subject and the role of the IT environment in value-adding compliance audits.
