Active work is underway to create a new IT system for planning and monitoring the implementation of the state budget

By the order of the Ministry of Finance and with the financial support of EU4PFM, the State Institution “Open Public Finance” has been working on the development of two IT systems since the beginning of 2023: “State Budget – Ministry of Finance” and “Automated information system for online interaction with spending units.”

To date, the Technical Tasks have already been developed and approved, and the software product is currently in development. Although there is still a lot of work ahead, including coding, consulting, synchronising with regulations and legislation, testing, training, and other stages of the project, the work is proceeding according to the planned schedule despite constant massive attacks and air alarms.

The first modules will be operational from January 1, 2024, and the work is planned to be completed at the end of August next year so that the Ministry of Finance can prepare the 2025 Budget using the new IT system.
