EU4PFM and the Ministry of Finance collaborate to advance Ukraine’s digital transformation of public finance
Today, during a working visit to Kyiv, EU4PFM Team Leader Jurgita Domeikienė and international key expert on IT Dragan Jeremić met with Oleksandr Hrubiian, the Deputy Minister of Finance for Digital Development, Digital Transformations, and Digitalisation.
During the meeting, the participants discussed progress in developing key IT solutions financed by the Project. Among these are the IT system for planning and monitoring the implementation of the state budget, the system of online interaction with key spending units – AIS ‘GRK-WEB’, which is expected to be completed in upcoming months, and the ongoing development of technical requirements for the Public Internal Financial Control Portal and for the IT system for accounting, which are being developed in parallel. Additionally, the participants addressed strategic issues related to IT consolidation and the creation of a private cloud for public finance (PFM cloud).
The parties also explored future, discussing the necessary IT solutions that are vital for the Ministry of Finance in its pursuit of European integration.
Oleksandr Hrubiian expressed his gratitude to the partners for their support, emphasising the importance of cooperation for the successful digital transformation of the Ministry. In turn, Jurgita Domeikienė assured that EU4PFM is ready to continue this assistance.
