Digital Development Plan of the State Tax Service approved by the PFM IT Management Committee of the Ministry of Finance
The Ministry of Finance has published the Digital Development Plan of the STS which defines the priority areas and phases of the State Tax Service’s digital transformation until 2030.
The document outlines a comprehensive approach to enhancing IT resources, automating business processes, improving taxpayer services, and developing the IT infrastructure of the STS (network equipment, software solutions, information security measures).
«The adoption of the STS Digital Development Plan is an important milestone. EU4PFM welcomes this achievement: forming a long-term vision is definitely a challenging task during wartime, yet it is absolutely necessary for many reasons. First of all, it establishes a framework for the digitalisation of the STS and clear priorities, including initiatives relevant to EU accession and a detailed action plan. This transparency is crucial both for the donor community, which is supporting Ukraine on its path to EU membership, and for aligning the plans with the governmental priorities, such as the National Revenue Strategy of Ukraine until 2030», — stated Dragan Jeremic, EU4PFM International Key Expert on IT.
The adoption of the Digital Development Plan facilitates the coordinated development of the STS IT infrastructure and services as a cohesive whole. This approach will optimise the introduction of new systems, administering them and increase cost predictability.
