EU4PFM continues to strengthen the Ministry of Finance’s resilience with emergency support
Since the start of russia’s full-scale invasion, EU4PFM has provided the Ministry with tangible support, in particular through its emergency assistance initiative.
This was highlighted today, during the meeting between Jurgita Domeikiene, Team Leader of the EU4PFM Components 1, 3, 4, and Oleksandr Hrubiian, the Deputy Minister of Finance, along with his team.
The emergency support has played a crucial role in ensuring the Ministry’s uninterrupted operation amid power outages and ongoing russian missile and drone attacks. The Project has also supplied hundreds of new laptops to Ministry employees, enabling them to access the Ministry of Finance’s information systems remotely when needed. Additionally, during the meeting, Ministry representatives emphasised that EU4PFM support has contributed to equipping workspaces for employees.
Key equipment deliveries include:
- Uninterruptible power supply
- Servers
- Network equipment
- Security software
- Storage systems
- A reserve data center
- Laptops and Microsoft licenses
- Antivirus systems
- Virtualisation software
- Cloud CPU, RAM and storage resources
- Two-factor authentication software
Additionally, work is underway to equip the Ministry with WiFi and video conferencing technology to enhance Ministry’s communication and cooperation with external stakeholders.
Through these efforts, EU4PFM continues to strengthen the Ministry’s resilience, ensuring it can operate efficiently under any circumstances and deliver financial services without disruption.
