EU4PFM Procurement Component supports the Ministry of Economy with laptops and charging stations

In response to the ongoing challenges caused by russia’s attacks on Ukraine’s energy infrastructure, EU4PFM provided critical support to the Ministry of Economy of Ukraine.

The Department of Public Procurement and Competition Policy, a key player in advancing procurement reform, received 8 laptops and 2 charging stations to help ensure continuous work amid power outages.This equipment will ensure uninterrupted operations in the event of power outages.

This equipment will enable the Department’s staff to maintain access to essential tools and systems, ensuring uninterrupted operations — particularly crucial during the anticipated challenges of the upcoming winter season. Sustaining these core functions is vital for advancing public procurement reforms, which remain a priority for Ukraine’s economic stability and development.

This contribution will strengthen the institutional resilience of the Department of Public Procurement and Competition Policy, enabling it to continue fulfilling its responsibilities in the face of ongoing adversities.
