The State Tax Service with the support of EU4PFM launches new free e-cash registers versions

The State Tax Service of Ukraine, with the support of the EU4PFM project, has developed new versions of the e-cash registers software for iOS and Web, as well as updated versions for Windows and Android. 

From today, everyone can download the relevant software for free on the STS official website.

“Reducing the administrative burden on business is one of the top priority tasks in the EU countries. Free software cash registers are an innovation introduced in only a few countries, and it is nice to emphasize that Ukraine is one of them. Despite the war, Ukraine continues to implement important reforms and digitalise, particularly in the tax sphere. In tough conditions, Ukraine continues its confident path to the European Union,” EU4PFM International Key Expert on Tax Paulius Majauskas said.

The State Tax Service of Ukraine noted that convenient mobile services are not only a requirement of modernity but also an urgent need during hostilities, which, unfortunately, are currently taking place on the territory of our country. Modern and convenient services from the State Tax Service in the pocket of taxpayers – simple registration of settlement transactions and submission of relevant reporting for Ukrainian entrepreneurs.

The new versions of the e-cash registers, developed with the support of the EU4PFM project, provide:

• creation and registration of fiscal receipts;

• easy addition of goods and services to a fiscal receipt;

• printing and sending fiscal receipts to customers by mail or messengers;

• opening/closing shift;

• official entry/official issuance;

• maintenance of nomenclature directories;

• export/import of nomenclature directories;

• sale of goods/services not included in the nomenclature directory;

• use of a barcode scanner;

• use of various forms of payment (cash/non-cash/combined (both cash and card);

• simple registration of a discount for a separate product or the entire amount of the receipt;

• registration of return of goods and return receipts;

• forming and revision the X-report;

• forming and revision the Z-report;

• automatic or manual closing of the shift and sending the Z-report.

Installing new versions of e-cash registers software on iOS and Android is as simple as possible. To do this, you need to take only 3 steps:

Step 1. Make sure you have submitted the following forms through the Electronic Cabinet:

20-ОПП “Reports on objects of taxation…” (F1312003 for individual entrepreneurs, J1312003 for legal entities);

1-ПРРО “Application for registration of e-cash register” (F1316603 for individual entrepreneurs, J1316603 for legal entities);

5-ПРРО “Notice on the provision of information regarding a qualified public key certificate” (F1391802 for individual entrepreneurs, J1391802 for legal entities);

Step 2. Download and install the e-cash registers software according to the operating system of your device – from the AppStore for iOS (version 15 or newer), from PlayMarket for Android (version 8.1 or newer), from the STS web portal for Windows (version 7 SP1 or newer). Step 3. Run the application and log in using the qualified electronic signature specified in the 5-ПРРО form.
