The State Customs Service, with the support of EU4PFM, continues to inform businesses about NCTS. More than 19,000 flyers were distributed at customs posts.

The software development for the State Tax Service of Ukraine, enabling the international automatic exchange of information under the Common Reporting Standard (CRS) and Country-by-Country Reporting (CbCR) Standard with over 100 foreign tax administrations, has been accomplished.

A round table on the practical implementation of measures to provide enterprises with authorizations for the application of simplifications, organized by the State Customs Service for business, took place on August 10. It was held on the recommendation of the Committee of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine on Finance, Tax, and Customs Policy. More than 120 business representatives participated online, and about 20 attended the event at the State Customs Service.

Ukraine is reforming its customs system in accordance with the EU standards. At the same time, Ukraine continues to use its own regulations introduced long before the signing of the Association Agreement with the EU and before it submitted its application to join the EU. From the point of view of the European integration process, these provisions are temporary.

Adaptation of new civil service employees is a process that requires a lot of attention, because it creates an effective basis for the future work of the employee. 

First and foremost, it is an opportunity to learn the goals and values of the particular state body, with the tasks, ethics, rules. It is the understanding of these things that allows newcomers to feel “in the right place”, feel less stress, and therefore start performing their duties faster and more efficiently. 

Experts of the EU4PFM project participated in the expert discussion "Do NCTS, AEO, and єЧерга ensure fast and easy border crossing?", which took place on July 27, 2023.

The event was attended by representatives of the Ministry of Finance, the State Customs Service, the EU4PFM and RST projects of the Ministry of Finance, the Association of Customs Brokers, and several other organizations.

EU4PFM, in collaboration with the State Tax Service, has developed a new IT system for the administration of tax disputes.

Public Institution Central Project Management Agency (hereinafter – CPMA) (Republic of Lithuania) is planning to procure the Development of Help Desk for NCTS including support (hereinafter – Goods).
