The open data platform in the field of public finance, “E-Data”, is now available in English
EU4PFM financed the translation of the platform https://edata.gov.ua, as well as the portals spending.gov.ua and openbudget.gov.ua into English.
The State Enterprise “Open Public Finance” implemented the English version on these sites. Thus, the transparency of Ukrainian public finances is accessible to an international audience without the need for additional translation tools!
This means that foreign partners, international organisations, investors, and researchers have direct access to key information about public finance management in Ukraine.
What is E-Data?
“E-Data” is an open data platform that provides access to information on public funds at the planning and execution stages of state and local budgets. It equips citizens with tools to control and monitor public finance management.
- Openbudget: publishes data on budget planning and execution at the state and local levels.
- Spending: provides information on the use of public funds from state and local budgets. By order of the Cabinet of Ministers, access to certain data published by defence spending units is temporarily restricted due to martial law.
The English version of these portals will help strengthen confidence in Ukraine’s financial system, expand cooperation with international partners, and attract new investment for reconstruction, as transparency and openness are key principles of modern financial management.
