EU4ACU project will support the Accounting Chamber of Ukraine during the audit of the assessment of damage and losses caused to Ukraine by the armed aggression of the russian federation.

Inguna Sudraba, Team Leader of the EU4ACU, presented the Project activities during the VІIІ Meeting of the EUROSAI Working Group on the Audit of Funds Allocated to Disasters and Catastrophes (WGAFADC).

At the first stage EU4ACU will support ACU on audit of the compliance of approaches applied at the state level to the development of a methodology for assessing damage and losses caused to Ukraine as a result of the russian aggression.

At the second stage – project will provide expert assistance on audits of compliance of the assessment of damage and losses.Developing the methodology according to the requirements of the standards ISSAI will allow strengthening the position of Ukraine in the international arena.

EU4ACU “Strengthening Capacities in External Audit in Line with International Standards in Ukraine” is a project financed by the European Union and implemented by DAI, aiming to ensure more efficient oversight of public resources through enhanced capacities in external audit of budgetary funds by the Accounting Chamber of Ukraine (ACU).
