The online workshop for business “On the edge of change. Introduction of the New Computerised Transit System (NCTS) and the Authorized Economic Operator (AEO) Program in Ukraine

Almost 100 participants took part in the online workshop for business “On the edge of change. Introduction of the New Computerised Transit System (NCTS) and the Authorized Economic Operator (AEO) Program in Ukraine, which took place on November 4.

Among the participants were representatives of the European Business Association, the Association of Customs Brokers, the Professional Customs Brokers Association, the Ukrainian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, and other business associations.

Most of the time of the seminar was devoted to the answers of experts to practical questions of business – in particular, on the simplifications and benefits of common transit, the state of their implementation; what simplifications and advantages to expect from companies with the AEO status and its actual application; changes expected after November 7, 2022, in connection with the cancellation of the declaration IM40EA in accordance with the transitional provisions of the Customs Code; AEO conformity assessment procedures – how it happens and what to expect from companies, etc.

The following experts took part in the seminar: Serhiy Demchenko, Director of the Department of Customs Development and Control of the State Customs Service, Alina Brendak, National Coordinator for Common Transit, Head of the Special Transit Simplification Department of the International Customs Service Transit System, Vytenis Alisauskas, EU4PFM International Expert, Oksana Nikanorova, Adviser to the Deputy Minister of Finance – RST Customs Reform Coordinator of the Ministry of Finance, Konstantin Bilchuk, EU4PFM expert, Oleksiy Vorobiov, EU4PFM expert.
