EU4PFM leadership in Kyiv discussed with representatives of the State Customs Service further support for customs reform on Ukraine’s path to the EU

Today in Kyiv, the leadership of the EU Program for the Support of Public Finance Management (EU4PFM) met with representatives of the State Customs Service to discuss the algorithm of actions to support customs reform by EU4PFM aimed at fulfilling the requirements for Ukraine as a candidate country for EU membership.

U4PFM Team Leader Jurgita Domeikiene, EU4PFM’s key international customs expert Vytenis Alisauskas held meetings with Deputy Heads of the State Customs Service Vladyslav Suvorov and Oleg Nikolaychuk. In particular, the steps necessary for joint work on the development of IT systems of the State Customs Service in accordance with EU requirements were discussed.
