EU4PFM supports the Ministry of Finance during a full-scale war

Today, the uninterrupted work of the Ministry is of greatest importance, as both the well-being of every Ukrainian and the state of the economy as a whole depend on it. That is why there is a need to secure the Ministry’s critical data so that nothing could destroy it. To this end, the EU4PFM project provides the Ministry of Finance with servers, network equipment and data storage systems. The new equipment will help to organise an additional backup storage platform.

Apart from this, the Ministry of Finance of Ukraine recently received 200 laptops and 300 Microsoft 365 licences from the EU4PFM. The equipment was already delivered to employees of the Ministry, who were forced to flee their homes. This will help them work remotely and contribute to Ukraine’s victory.

The assistance was made possible thanks to the financial support of the European Union in Ukraine within the framework of the EU Public Finance Management Support Programme for Ukraine (EU4PFM). Further aid to Ukraine will be provided over the next weeks.

In general, the EU supports Ukraine with emergency Macrofinancial Assistance, amounting to €1.2 billion, and €2 billion has already been allocated to support Ukraine’s defence through the European Peace Facility.
