Online meeting between the Head of Accounting Chamber of Ukraine and Auditor General of the National Audit Office of the Republic of Lithuania
Closed borders because of the COVID-2019 pandemic are not an obstacle to international cooperation.
On 7th of October, 2020, under EU4PFM support, the online meeting was organized between the Head of Accounting Chamber of Ukraine, Valeriy Patskan, and Auditor General of the National Audit Office of the Republic of Lithuania, Mindaugas Masijauskas.
Participants of the meeting discussed the strategic goals of ACU for the future and EU4PFM support in helping to implement the reforms agenda. It is a question of introduction of modern methods of HR-management in institution, introduction of principles of project management, improvement of IT-provision of audits.
Valeriy Patskan thanked Jurgita Domeikiene, EU4PFM Acting Team Lead for ongoing support and establishing linkages between the partners.
The National Audit Office expressed its readiness to share with the Accounting Chamber its experience in establishing business processes in public audit, creating a risk management system in the work of auditors. Participants also discussed the issues related to control over the use of public funds to combat coronavirus.
