“Modernization of the budget process in Ukraine – a new focus of the EU4PFM project in 2022” – Jurgita Domeikienė, Team Leader of EU4PFM programmeEU4PFM project expanded its activities in Ukraine. At the beginning of 2022 a contract was signed between the EU Delegation to Ukraine and CPMA, Vilnius, Lithuania, for the EU4PFM project to start activities related to budget preparation, execution and monitoring in Component 1.
The budget of the project was topped-up by approximately 7,5 MEUR and the overall duration of the project was extended until the end of 2024.

EU4PFM provides expert support in improving the HR strategy of the Ministry of FinanceWith the expert support of EU4PFM, the Ministry of Finance of Ukraine held a discussion on improving the its HR strategy from the 17th to 20th of January.

The EU4PFM program has implemented a project of deployment of seamless Wi-Fi networks in the office of the State Customs ServiceFunded by the EU4PFM project, seamless Wi-Fi networks have been installed in the buildings of the central office of the State Customs Service with automatic switching of devices to the nearest access point for use by both Customs officers and visitors of the office. To implement the project, a large number of modern equipment was installed and connected, including 147 Wi-Fi access points, 10 communication cabinets, 2 powerful UPS.
