The European Union Project EU4PFM ‘Public Finance Management Support Program in Ukraine’ conducted its 6^th Steering Committee Meeting on July 14, 2021. On June 10, the trial operation of the Electronic Journal of the Seaport Checkpoint (Journal), one of the components of the updated Automated Customs Clearance System (ASMO), which will also provide the foundation for the operation of the Smart Checkpoint in seaports, began in June. The introduction of the Journal into the work of the State Customs Service should allow automating customs clearance at maritime checkpoints, simplifying and speeding up the process of customs control of foreign vessels.

Ukraine accedes to the Convention on the Common Transit Procedure and introduces a new computerized transit system - NCTS, which connects the customs services of the countries party to the Convention, allowing the exchange of customs data.

The Public Institution Central Project Management Agency (hereinafter – CPMA) (Republic of Lithuania) plans to conduct a public procurement procedure for the State Tax Service of Ukraine with the aim of acquiring the services of the information system for the improving the process to collect, store, and use data of Cash Registers and Software-based Cash Registers, and verify the authenticity and accuracy of settlement documents (the Services) under implementation of the Contribution Agreement No. ENI/2018/404-165 signed on 19th of December, 2018 by the European Union, represented by the European Commission, and CPMA for the implementation of the EU funded “Public Finance Management Support Programme for Ukraine” (EU4PFM), Components 3 and 4 (hereinafter Project). The final owner and beneficiary of these Services is State Tax Service of Ukraine.
